Welcome to the Davie Police Homeowner Vacation Extra Watch Program.
In an effort to combat criminal activity, the Davie Police Department has implemented the Vacation Extra Watch program. This program is designed to provide the police department with vital information in the event that a call for service (such as an alarm) may occur at your residence.
Due to the volume of calls for service and the unpredictability of when or where crimes will occur, this program is not designed to schedule officers to "drive by" locations. However; the Davie Police Department is committed to making every effort to periodically check on your residence during the time you are away. Please be aware that, in checking your residence, the officers may walk around your house, checking for suspicious activity such as open/unlocked doors or windows.
You are urged to complete the form below to notify the police department when your residence will be vacant. Once complete, the form will be sent to each officer within the Patrol Services Division. Officers will then have the residence information for their patrol period. Each Vacation Extra Watch request has a maximum allowable term of 2 weeks.
The online Vacation Extra Watch program does not include businesses or commercial properties at this time.
