Major James Moyer is the commander of the Operations Bureau which utilizes a Team Policing Model while embracing the philosophy of Community Policing. The majority of Officers are regularly assigned the same zone which allow officers to identify and address problems in their specific area.
The Operations Bureau is divided into six Teams during each of the two major 12 hour shifts: Day and Night, to provide around-the-clock service, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The Operations Bureau is subdivided into the following areas:
